The award will enable the Chamber to leverage existing funds and support grant opportunities that amplify Chamber-led marketing initiatives, that drive and support tourism to the area. These initiatives include:
Photography, story and video creation for the highly successful website www.dotheshu.com
Refreshing the panels of 10 Visitor Kiosks featuring the South Shuswap’s tourism products, strategically located throughout the area.
“We are pleased to collaborate with and support the South Shuswap Chamber, which adds so much value to the tourism sector and visitor experience in the area,” stated Sue McCrae, SEDS President. “One of the goals of the SEDS Strategic Plan is to foster the development of extended season tourism by partnering with local Chambers and not-for-profit business organizations in each area we represent.”
