Christmas in the South Shuswap

The Christmas season is upon us with several opportunities across the South Shuswap for shopping, giving, gatherings and visits with Santa.

The first events include a Christmas Market Nov. 26, at Sorrento Memorial Hall. 9am to 2pm, a Seniors’ Christmas Party and Sorrento Lions Silent Auction Nov. 26 from 6 to 10 pm at Shuswap Estates Community Centre, South Shuswap Chamber ‘Snow Ball’ Dinner/Dance on Fri. Dec. 2 at Shuswap Lake Estates Community Centre and Free Breakfast with Santa on Sat. Dec. 3 at Sorrento Memorial Hall. 

Kids Only Christmas Shopping for children 4-12 will be held on Sat. Dec 3, 9:30-noon in the lower level of Cedar Heights Centre and Notch Hill Town Hall Children’s Christmas Party is set for Dec 4.

The CP Holiday Train will be arriving Dec. 15 at 9:10 pm at Notch Hill with a pre-party at Notch Hill Hall from 6 to 9pm.
