Recovered Suspected Stolen Property

Media Release By S/Sgt. Scott West, Salmon Arm Detachment

SALMON ARM - On June 17, 2023 the Salmon Arm RCMP attended to a residence on 11th Ave NE as a result of family calling that there was a shed full of suspected stolen property at that location.

As a result the Salmon Arm RCMP officers recovered a storage shed full of property and now have it in police custody. The property consists of electric hand tools, industrial or shop vacuum cleaners, leaf blowers, gas powered lawn trimmers, and various tools which include nail guns, rotary saws and a distinctive welder. (Just to name a few).

If you have reported your tools stolen and provided a serial number you can expect a call from the police in the coming weeks as we go through the property in an attempt to return it to the rightful owners.

If you have yet to report your property stolen, please complete a report on line through the Salmon Arm RCMP's On Line Crime Reporting system so that we might be able to match up the property to your report.

Serial numbers are an asset but not the only way police may be able to get your property back to you. A complete description of the item with distinguishing characteristics like initials or stickers or paint or well described damage maybe unique enough to get your property back to you.
