Shuswap Community Unites for Wildfire Relief Benefit Dance

In response to the devastating wildfires that have affected the Shuswap region, the community is coming together for a special event. On October 14th, from 7 to 10 PM, the Cedar Heights Social Centre in Blind Bay will host a benefit dance to raise funds for wildfire relief.
The Island Fogg Band will provide the musical entertainment for the evening, promising an enjoyable night of dancing. The suggested admission fee is $25, payable in cash, by check, or as a donation at the door. All proceeds will support the Shuswap Community Foundation’s efforts to assist those impacted by the wildfires.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and a cash bar and snacks will be available. Shuswap Strong T-shirts will also be for sale, offering a stylish way to show your support for the community.
